what is Black Fungus?

   You might have seen fungus on Bread when its kept in open , that's black fungus.

   They mostly occur in areas that have moisture. 

   They enter through the nose , mouth, or eyes and can affect the brain, if not treated in time. 

   This is deadly. 

   And from there, this fungus will travel to will travel to the brain, from where the situation can get
out of control. 

   But this will all happen to only those who have a weak immune system. 

   The first symptom is brown discharge from the nose so in this case , one should consult a doctor immediately.

   Health experts have claimed that "Misuse of Steroids"(Steroid is used to suppress immunity used in the treatment of COVID) is the major cause of the black fungus.

   After taking steroids , the immunity of the person becomes low which is why they become prone to the black fungus infection.

   Serious COVID patients who got high steroid dose and were kept in ventilator or oxygen support or those who already have a low immune system are at higher risk of black fungus infection.

What are the Symptoms of Black fungus?

   Nose Stuffed up with little brown fluid or brown fluid discharge from nose, toothache, loosening of teeth, black coating inside the nose (like we see on bread) and things get serious when it reaches eyes, loos of vision, or pain in eyes, swelling in cheeks and eyes
